It's All In The Details (A Wedding At White Rock Lake)...

We had the opportunity to work with an amazing bride & groom a few weeks ago! We are truly in awe of their vision and dream -- that turned reality -- and were thrilled to be a small part of it.

Blake & Becca were married at the beautiful Filter Building on White Rock Lake. It is a perfect location for your 'i-do's'; rich with Dallas-Style history to boot.

Luckily, the inside of the Filter Building is as beautiful as the outside. Plan A was to have the wedding outside on the lawn, overlooking the beautiful lake. Plan B was to have the wedding on the patio over looking the beautiful lawn (mentioned in Plan A) and the beautiful lake. Plan C was to arrange everything inside the building, while looking out of the windows to the patio, lawn and beautiful lake. Rain was in the forecast; although we hadn't seen any. The call was made to move everything inside... and the bride and groom couldn't have been any happier with the decision. Who wouldn't be with great options all around?!

But what was really refreshing about our wonderful couple were all of the details they put in to the wedding. We honestly can't take any credit for the design aspect of the below photos. They had a dream and we were there to set it up and turn that dream in to reality!

Speaking of photos... Bella Pop did an amazing job of not only capturing these one-of-a-kind details but also in showing the love that Becca & Blake share. We are so inspired...

The theme for this wedding was "English Garden". The bride's family is from England and the groom proposed in a... you guessed it... English garden! {Awwww}... The underlying theme was their love for anything books; which in-turn showcased their passion for vintage.

So, take a journey with us as we TRY to show you all of the special touches of this wonderful day...
Small chalkboards lead the guests to the front door.

Roof-top photos... see above mentioned amazing lake!?

I LOVE this photo.. they had a great bridal party -- including a "Man of Honor" and a "Groomswoman"

Adorable details.
Top Left: Hand-Painted Welcome Signs on the Roads.
Top Right: Ringbearer "Books" that the rings were hand-tied to.
Bottom Left: Programs.
Bottom Right: Boxwood Wreaths that flanked the aisle.

See, Plan C was still strikingly beautiful!
The Filter Building has great structure including windows that can open (which we did to let some fresh air in and make it seem more like an outdoor wedding) and some awesome rafters.

Walking down the aisle... she is priceless!
Her father had an accent we could listen to all day.

Memorial lanterns -- These were for their grandparents. The groom also carried one down the aisle, as he walked his mother down, in honor of his late father.

The Kiss.

Adorable Details:
Top Left: The guests found their escort cards by finding their name which was written on a Field-Note book. Their name was on the line that read "This Book Belongs To:" and their table name was found under the line "Pertinent Coordinates".
Bottom Left: Guest Book - at each place setting the guests found a library card in which they could write best wishes to the bride and groom. They then inserted these cards in a book with the pockets already attached.
Right: The table names were actual books the guests located on their respective table.

Simple and stunning.
This just goes to show you that you really don't need a lot when the location is this beautiful.

Adorable Detail: Hand-made book flowers by the bride. What a labor of love?! This detail was included in the bouquets, the boutonnieres and centerpieces.

Adorable Details: The centerpieces.
Mason jars as vases, books as table names, English garden flowers.

Adorable Details: Heirloom cross
and a hand-sewn register that told the story of Blake & Becca.

Marriage License SIGNED!

Adorable Detail:
Hand-carved Cake Topper from a Groomsman!
This cake topper was so precious to the bride and groom. It was designed just for them and included unique features about the couple.
Oh... plus we LOVE cupcakes!

First Dance.

Departure: Even the mini-cooper reaffirmed the English theme!

Not shown: Hand-forged napkin-rings from the brides fathers company in England.
Scottish-Eggs for the Cocktail Hour.
And many, many more details this thoughtful bride and groom included.

Thank you Becca & Blake for trusting us on one of the most important days of your lives! We will forever remember your unique wedding and how in love you guys were on your special day.

XOXO,
Sarabeth | Amanda | Fallon
